Congratulations are in order for award-winning Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa, and her husband on the arrival of their first child.
The arrival of their first child followed Ekene Umenwa’s husband’s birthday.
In an Instagram post, the actress opened up about her feelings, attributing them to God’s mercy, and described her pregnancy journey as a wonderful experience.
Alongside her post, Umenwa Ekene shared a video that showed her in a Catholic attire, cradling her baby bump.
She captioned the video, “I am truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was an amazing experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honor to Mother Mary, who accompanied me every step of the way. Inspired by a vision I received while praying at the grotto, I am filled with immense joy to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply”.
