Adekunle Gold, the renowned Nigerian singer, has made a new assertion.
He claimed that his colleague Timi Dakolo’s song “Great Nation” would have been a better national anthem than the old anthem to which the country reverted.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
Reacting, Adekunle Gold wondered why those in authority did not consider Timi Dakolo’s ‘Great Nation’ as the country’s new anthem.
