Bukola Elemide, also known as Asa, a Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer, has expressed interest in working with Nigerian artists.
During an interview with prominent media personality Ebuka Uchendu on the show “Black Box Interview,” the Nigerian-French vocalist revealed a lot about her musical career and beliefs. The conversation, which was split into two halves, lasted over two hours and saw the reticent Asa open up on a variety of issues, including personal anecdotes.
Asa spoke bluntly and openly about the Nigerian music scene, hailing Ruggedman as a “saviour” at a time when the Nigerian music scene was overwhelmed with rubbish.
When asked about internal or international collaborations, she cited Davido, Niniola, Teni, and Simi as artists she would like to work with. She also revealed in the interview that she is working on a project with Grammy-nominated Wizkid and another with fantastic artist Wurld.
