Blessing Oborududu is a Nigerian freestyle wrestler. She is currently ranked as the world number two woman wrestler and also the first wrestler to win an Olympic medal representing Nigeria at the Olympics. She is also a ten time African champion from 2010 to 2020.
Oborududu beat Samah Abdellatif of Egypt 10 – 0 in finals of the 68kg Senior category to win the gold medal.
The win makes Oborududu, the 12-time African champion at the African Wrestling Championship in Tunisia.
