Timi Wednesday George, a Bayelsa-born Nigerian rapper better known by his stage name ‘Lemon Black Aka Dope Ijaw Boy’, has passed away.
News of his death broke on Tuesday morning after his industry colleagues took to social media to pay tributes.
It is understood that the 38-year-old passed away on October 18, 2022 after a protracted battle with a kidney failure.
Among those who have mourned his death is Chiff Timz, a Nigerian music producer who took to his Facebook to write: “Timi Lemon Black it’s heart breaking that we did all we could but our efforts weren’t enough 2 save u. God alone knows why as our destiny remains the mystery we all can’t understand.
