Veteran Nollywood actor and producer Kanayo O. Kanayo has called out teen actress Angel Unigwe and her mother, accusing them of breaching a filming contract with his production firm. According to Kanayo, Angel’s mother removed her from the set before the contract’s expiration, violating their agreement.
Kanayo alleged that this was not an isolated incident, claiming that Angel’s mother has a history of holding producers “to ransom.” He expressed his disappointment and frustration, stating that he had previously received warnings about working with Angel and her mother.
In response to the alleged breach, Kanayo has called on Nollywood producers to boycott Angel Unigwe and has threatened to disrupt any shoot involving her. He emphasized the importance of professionalism and honoring contracts in the industry.
As of now, neither Angel Unigwe nor her mother has responded to Kanayo’s allegations. The incident highlights the importance of clear communication and contract adherence in the entertainment industry.
