STAR BOY follows Dekunle, a gifted young man from a humble background who dreams of lifting his family out of poverty. After losing job opportunities due to nepotism and being rejected by the woman he loves for not being “successful enough,” Dekunle finds hope through music. Encouraged by his loyal friend Sade, he enters a national singing competition that changes his life. As his fame rises, Dekunle must navigate fame, family secrets, and temptation — especially when his estranged brother Bayo resurfaces with ties to a dangerous criminal world.
