In a scathing critique, photographer Amos Bernard has expressed his deep-seated frustration with the Bayelsa State Government’s slow pace of development. Taking to social media, Bernard lamented, “I am tired of spending money on fuel, why is snail moving faster than the development of the state?”
Bernard‘s statement highlights the dire need for improved infrastructure and basic amenities in Bayelsa State like Electricity. The photographer’s frustration stems from the financial burden of constantly spending on fuel, which could be alleviated by the provision of reliable public services.
By speaking out, Bernard has joined a growing chorus of voices demanding greater accountability and progress from the Bayelsa State Government.
In His Words;
I am tire of spending money on fuel and repair of generators, Bayelsa state government encourage businesses people by giving us light, it’s shameful that a whole state capital does not have light for this long. Who is even the commissioner of power in this state? Why is snail moving faster than the development of the state? Who even give Bayelsa state “The Glory of all Land”?
