Talented Bayelsan Rapper, El Vidal who is currently in Lagos state has revealed his encounter with some police men in Lagos.
On a lengthy post he made on Facebook, the Rapper explained how they Extorted him of 55,000 naira.
In His Words;
My whole day was fucked up, the Police stopped a cab i was in, suspected me to be a Yahoo boy, asked me where I’m from n i told em Bayelsa. They searched me n found nothing, then they forcefully took my phone saying they know I’m a bad boy. Then they codedly checked my account balance, checked the people I’m chatting with n didn’t see any white person. Instead of letting me go, they just wanted to make sure they take money from they amount they saw in my account so the next thing they did was going to my WhatsApp listening to voice notes. And then they opened a chart i had with my ex some days back, they played the VNs n gave me charge of cultism (Vikings) coz i n my ex were jokingly sending voice notes to each other with street slangs. They took me to their van n was acting like they wanted to take me to their station. He then said “if not that Nigeria is corrupt, they would have taken me straight to their headquarters, so i should pay 80k to be free. I was being careful coz i don’t want the situation to become more drastic, so i prized it down to 55k🤦♂️ 😭. The funniest thing was that non of these men was ready to give me their account numbers for me to make the transfer, n i wasn’t with my ATM so they said i should transfer to the cab driver so he will withdraw n give them the cash.
Today the Police stole from me n let it be known that they have stolen away not only my money but also my conscience.
