Skillful Bayelsan Photographer, Nathan Godstime popularly known as Geetee ShotIt has revealed recently that there is no celebrity in Bayelsa state.
On a post the Photographer made earlier, he stated that there is no celebrity from Bayelsa state, even the likes of Timaya, Timi Dakolo, Timini and Payper Corleone are not from Bayelsa state, he added.
In His Words;
HILDA HAS DONE WELL BUT NO FORGET SAY BAYELSANS NEED THE KIND SUPPORT YOU GIVE TO THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE.
WE HAVE GREAT TALENTS HERE AND GREAT PEOPLE WHO WITH JUST A LITTLE SUPPORT FROM YOU WILL BE UP THERE MAKING BAYELSA PROUD.
If I can recall,no body from Bayelsa has made it out as a celebrity.
We cant talk about TIMI DAKOLO because he was not staying here in Bayelsa,TIMAYA is a Port Harcourt boy and even the few that knew him took him for granted,PAYPER is a surulere boy and he worked so hard to keep himself at the spot he is right now(no be BAYELSA help am o),TIMINI has never been here also.
Right now most BAYELSANS are complaining that all these BAYELSA celebrities don’t come through for them or BAYELSANS. Meanwhile,they grew out of BAYELSA and on their own.We dont have a celebrity from BAYELSA!!!!
Even if you cant respect the fact that I have worked so hard to support the Bayelsan brand and name,even if you don’t respect that I have worked so hard to keep my self in the level i am now where i mentor people. Please support the litte ones here.
We have too many talents dying here everyday, and you will never know it but you are part of why we are not growing. Learn to support your own.When bayelsans see outsiders doing well they post it but when it’s a bayelsan their social media apps will eat up their datas so they dont post it.
I appreciate everyone posting me but don’t post people or celebrate people only when it’s their birthday or when one dies.I know we’ve come together to support the few that has gone out for competitions.
To the ones that BAYELSA has supported, you have also proven to Bayelsans that our supports are useless.
And if nobody in the world can say they’ve supported you in competitions. I personally,I have supported alot of you with my money,team,space and my time. It might not be much but alot more others have supported you as well and when you win you prove to Bayelsans that you made it and it’s for yourself alone.For just small money when you win una go dey feel like bayelsans no be anybody; BAYELSA is not a place to stay,bayelsans are irritating, bayelsans are this and that for just small money wen you win you no wan even accept the name Bayelsa. Some of una go dey even pretend dey say una be Portharcourt people.
But how we go do, we cant stop supporting because a brother cannot kill a brother.
To Bayelsa entertainers, You keep complaining about the government everyday. The government is not doing this,he’s not doing that, but the next day all of you will gather and support a particular government and when hes not in your favor you come online to rant and talk thesame government down again misleading the public making them believe that because they’re looki up to you,you’re making the right decision. Some of these young ones look up to you as their mentor so when you fail they fail with you cause they’re looking up to.
Baba anybody wey dey feed you nai be your god if dem comot the food for your mouth, them don become the most wicked people.So many musicians has gone into depression and left music into trade not because they can’t do music but because the hustle hard o.
But all thesame,We BAYELSANS,we’re loving people. We have a lovely culture and tribe,the best we can do is to support each other with the little we can and respect those who have earned grounds and doing wel in their line of business(es).
Let’s learn to support ourselves.I am a brand and I have grown,even if you don’t wan to support me support Bayelsans that are doing well.
And as for you doing nothing for yourself stop talking about Bayelsans not supporting cause you have to start something and build yourself to earn support.My name is GEETEE SHOT IT and I’m a proud bayelsa blood. I am respected outside and if I earn a little of what I get outside I would appreciate it.
