The ongoing feud between Seun Kuti and Wizkid has taken a more personal turn after Wizkid made a crude comment about Seun’s wife on social media.
Yencityjamz reports that the singer, in a post via 𝕏, last night warned Seun to stop the Fela comparison.
He wrote: “Ok everybody better pass Wizkid! Can we all sleep now? Fela fight for freedom this fool Dey fight fc! Oloshi Omo ale ! Everyday Wizkid! I fuck ur ugly wife ? Wetin!”
Reacting to the attack, Seun Kuti addressed the issue in a live video, expressing anger over the decision to involve his family in the dispute.
He said real men should never bring women or children into conflicts between adults and described the comment as disrespectful and unnecessary.
Seun then turned the insult back at Wizkid by mocking his relationship with Jada P, who is older than the singer.
He referred to Wizkid as someone who keeps an older woman at home, questioning why such a person would attack another man’s wife.
He added that attacking family members only shows a lack of maturity and respect.
The Afrobeat singer also spoke about the effect of the online abuse on his child, revealing that some fans had taken the insults to his child’s social media page.
He described such actions as destructive but said the attacks would not break him or his family.
According to him, he wants his child to grow strong by learning how to face difficult situations, just as he did while growing up.
