Nigerian Streamer Peller has weighed in on Davido’s latest Grammy loss, taking to Instagram to express his disappointment. Davido failed to win the Global Music Performance Award at the 2026 Grammys, losing out to South African sensation Tyla.
Peller’s post read, “Omo This One Pain Me O, Davido No Win Grammy Again, Carter Efe Na God Go Punish You”. The comedian seemed to be blaming Carter Efe, a Nigerian rapper, for Davido’s loss, hinting at a bet made earlier that Davido would win.
It appears Peller had put his faith in Davido, and the loss has left him heartbroken. Carter Efe, on the other hand, might be enjoying a win, but it’s unclear if he’ll escape Peller’s wrath.
