Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye is breathing a sigh of relief after her latest film, “Where Love Lives,” had its monetization restored on YouTube. The film had been hit with a false copyright claim, but thanks to the help of her godmother, Uduak Isong, and her team, the issue was resolved just in time.
Bimbo Ademoye took to social media to express her gratitude, saying, “I am super grateful to my godmother, Uduak Isong, and her team for their unwavering support.” She also thanked her “cyber family” for standing by her through the ordeal.
The film, which has racked up over 18 million views, was allegedly targeted by an individual who uploaded the song used in the movie without permission. Bimbo Ademoye fought back, proving she had full rights to the music, and eventually won the case.
