A young woman is currently recovering in hospital after ingesting a poisonous substance known as “sniper” in a desperate attempt to end her life. The incident comes after she allegedly experienced a terrifying assault, having been raped in her own home by a total stranger.
According to reports, the lady, whose identity remains private for safety and dignity, said she felt completely broken and unable to cope with the emotional and physical pain from the ordeal. “I drank sniper yesterday… I felt like I couldn’t take it anymore. My chest is burning, I am so tired, so broken… my friend had to rush me to the hospital to save me,” she shared, highlighting the severe mental anguish she’s enduring.
Friends and concerned individuals quickly intervened, rushing her to a medical facility where she received urgent care. Doctors have since stabilized her condition, but she remains under close observation as she battles both physical recovery and deep psychological trauma.
This heartbreaking case sheds light on the devastating aftermath of sexual violence and the urgent need for mental health support for survivors. Experts stress that survivors of such trauma need compassionate care, counseling, and community support to heal and rebuild their lives.
