Social media has been buzzing with claims that Nigerian online personality and skit maker Kolu has been arr£sted in the United Kingdom.
The viral report, which surfaced on February 18, 2026, alleges that Kolu was taken into custody after reportedly engaging in a confr⁰ntation with UK police and imm!gration officers when he could not locate his passport.
The claim has been widely attributed to Nigerian rapper Candy Bleakz, with multiple posts quoting her as saying:
“Kolu has been arrested in the UK after fighting with UK police and immigration officers because he couldn’t find his passport.”
Many users reacted with humor, flooding comment sections with laughing emojis and jokes about “village people” allegedly following him abroad.
Kolu recently traveled to the UK earlier this month, reportedly sponsored or invited by Candy Bleakz for a collaboration or appearance. The trip itself had already sparked controversy after comedian and streamer Carter Efe expressed displeasure, suggesting he was unaware of the arrangement.
Candy Bleakz, however, had responded that Kolu was paid millions of naira for the trip.
Upon arriving in the UK, Kolu shared enthusiastic posts online, even joking that he might not be returning to Nigeria anytime soon.
No Official Confirmation Yet
Despite the widespread online circulation, there has been no confirmation from UK authorities or mainstream British media regarding any arrest involving Kolu. As of the time of filing this report, no official police or immigration statement has been released to substantiate the claim.
The story appears to be fu£led primarily by social media reposts, alleged voice notes, and entertainment blog coverage. Given the nature of Nigerian online entertainment drama, some observers believe the incident may have been exaggerated—or possibly taken out of context.
For now, the alleged arrest remains unverified. Fans are advised to await confirmation from credible sources or official statements before drawing conclusions.
