Popular Nigerian TikToker and content creator Peller has revealed why he turned down an offer from DSTV to broadcast his upcoming wedding, saying he prefers to maintain full control of the event by streaming it on his own platforms.
According to Peller, the pay-TV company approached him with an offer to televise the wedding. However, he politely declined, explaining that as a digital creator and professional streamer, broadcasting the event himself is more in line with his brand.
“DSTV reached out to me that they want to stream our wedding, but guess what? DSTV, we love you. I am a streamer. I’m big, I know, but please let me stream my wedding. Na my wedding, let me do it,” he said.
Peller added that he and his fiancée, Jarvis, plan to livestream the ceremony across multiple social media platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. He expressed excitement about connecting directly with his online community, joking that his TikTok live session would attract numerous virtual gifts from fans.
