TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis just took their relationship to the next level. After months of “no bride price, no intimacy” talks, streamer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja aka Peller has reportedly paid Jarvis’ bride price in Edo State, marking the traditional step before their wedding.
The Backstory: “He Must Put Money on My Head First”
Jarvis, real name Amodu Elizabeth Aminata, had been firm about her boundaries. In interviews she said she wouldn’t cross intimacy lines with Peller until he “put money on my head” – her way of saying the traditional bride price must be paid first.
She even cooked and did “wife duties” strategically: “I’m cooking and doing everything so he can see the opportunities he might lose. The food is free”.
Palace Drama & Public Appeal
Things got serious in March 2026 when Peller made an unauthorized visit to the Benin Royal Palace without invitation. The Benin Traditional Council called it a breach of palace rules and summoned him. A chief was suspended, and Peller was ordered to submit a written apology.
Jarvis didn’t stay quiet. She went live and appealed directly to Oba Ewuare II:
> “I don’t want to be single to stupor… please forgive him. I want to get married; I want my bride price paid without fear. Please have mercy on us”.
Engagement + Bride Price Paid
The couple got engaged on May 4, 2026 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Peller had earlier revealed he bought Jarvis a $4,000 engagement ring, about ₦6M, “when I never guide well”.
Now, with bride price reportedly paid in Edo, Jarvis’ condition has been met. She had joked during a livestream that her wedding aso ebi would cost ₦5M for 2 outfits – one for traditional, one for white wedding – and told fans “If you no get, go sleep o”.

The bride price payment clears the traditional path for their wedding. Fans are already speculating on dates after the engagement + this Edo ceremony.
