Ghana is mourning the death of its tallest man, Abdul-Samed Sulemana, popularly known as Awuche, who passed away at the age of 33 after battling health complications linked to gigantism.
Standing at an impressive 7 feet 4 inches, Awuche became widely known for his extraordinary height and inspiring personality. He had been receiving treatment at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, where philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama reportedly supported his medical care.
His passing has sparked an outpouring of tributes from Ghanaians and admirers across Africa, with many remembering him for his resilience despite the health challenges associated with gigantism.
