It’s double joy in the Ebosele household! Nollywood actress Mercy Ebosele and her husband Kehinde Olasupo are celebrating the 1st birthday of their twins, exactly one year after welcoming their “double blessing” in August 2025.
Double Blessing, Double Gratitude
Mercy announced the birth of her twins on August 23, 2025, with tender photos of her husband holding the newborns. Her caption melted hearts: _“I am the woman whom the Lord has shown great mercy”_.
Now at one, the twins are the center of celebration. Fans and colleagues have flooded her page with prayers, love, and “Iya Ibeji” chants. Actress Mosun Filani, who calls herself godmother to the twins, wrote _“Double for your trouble. Congratulations Ajoke. I am a proud godmother of twins”_.
8 Years of Waiting, 1 Year of Joy
Mercy and Kehinde tied the knot in July 2017. After 8 years of marriage, God blessed them with twins – a story she calls pure mercy. The photos she shared last year captured her husband proudly holding the babies, while Mercy beamed with gratitude.
The news sparked an outpouring of congratulations from Nollywood stars: Muyiwa Ademola said “Oluwaseun”, Bukola Adeeyo and Regina Chukwu sent prayers, while fans on Nairaland called it “bountiful blessings”.
Life as “Iya Ibeji”
One year later, Mercy’s caption still holds: _“I am the woman whom the Lord has shown great mercy”_. Twins in Yoruba culture are called “Ibeji” – children of special blessing. No wonder she’s celebrating big.
